Microsoft has launched EvoDiff, a universal framework for generating "high-fidelity and "diverse" proteins based on protein sequences without requiring structural information about the target protein, thus eliminating the most cumbersome steps. The technology applies to the creation of novel therapeutic drug enzymes.
