Samsung today announced two new Galaxy A series phones, the Galaxy A05 and Galaxy A05s. both phones come with 6.7-inch LCD screens with HD+ and FHD+ resolutions respectively. The A05s has a 13-megapixel front-facing camera and the A05 has an 8-megapixel front-facing camera, both of which are located in waterdrop bangs.
In terms of chips, the A05s is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 processor while the A05 is powered by a MediaTek Helio G85 processor. Both phones come with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage that can be expanded via microSD card.
In terms of cameras, both phones share the same 50-megapixel main camera and a 2-megapixel depth-of-field secondary camera, but the A05s has an additional 2-megapixel macro camera. The A05s also packs a 2-megapixel front-facing camera, while the A05 sports an 8-megapixel front-facing camera that sits in the waterdrop bangs.
The Galaxy A05 is available in black, light green and silver colors, while the A05s also comes in a purple color. Both phones pack a 5000 mAh battery and support 25W fast charging technology. System-wise, both phones are based on Android 13's OneUI Core operating system. The price and availability of the new phones have not been announced yet.
