Meta launches standalone AI image generator

Meta has recently released a new, standalone AI Image Generator -- Imagine with Meta, a tool that allows users to create images from natural language descriptions.

Meta launches standalone AI image generator

Imagine with Meta is based on Meta's existing Emu image generation model, which creates high-resolution images based on text prompts entered by the user. The tool is currently free for U.S. users and generates four different images for each prompt.

However, just recently, Meta's image generation model sparked controversy over racially biased image stickers. In an effort to address such issues, Meta has stated that they will begin adding invisible watermarks to images generated by Imagine with Meta. These watermarks will be created byartificial intelligence (AI)model generation and can only be detected by the corresponding model to improve content transparency.
