Baidu Intelligent Cloud Releases Qianfan Big Model 2.0: Comprehensively Upgrades Four Major Aspects to Achieve High-Efficiency, Low-Cost Big Model Development and Application

At yesterday's 2023BaiduAt the Cloud Intelligence Conference, Baidu Intelligent Cloud officially announced thatChifan Large ModelPlatform 2.0 is fully and completely upgraded.

According to Baidu Cloud's official introduction, the Thousand Sails Big Model Platform 2.0 upgrade brings a number of improvements:

1. Tool Chain Integration: Chifan Large Model Platform 2.0 closely integrates all aspects of large model development, training, deployment and application development. According to the introduction, Chifan provides one-stop tool chain platform, which can seamlessly connect all business processes of the whole life cycle and maximize the efficiency. It used to take a month to debug and run through to see the effect of the big model, which can be realized in just one day on Chifan platform.

2. Calculation power performance improvement: The underlying layer of the Chihuahua big model platform is a set of heterogeneous arithmetic clusters, high-speed interconnected networks and high-performance storage.AIArithmetic infrastructure that can support large models trained on a 10,000-card scale. This will significantly reduce the cost of large model training and inference.

3. Data Enhancement: Chifan Big Model Platform not only supports managing big models, but also has the function of enhancing the capability of big models. The newly upgraded Chinese enhancement function can greatly improve the Chinese comprehension and generation ability of large models. For example, the foreign big model LIama2 can also realize the good effect of Chinese conversation. In addition, the overall training and inference performance has also been comprehensively improved, and the overall throughput of LlaMA 2 can be increased by 1/4, and the inference ability can even be increased by 3 times.

4. Enterprise-level security protection: with the help of Chifan's security mechanism, enterprises can build a four-layer security line of defense to comprehensively safeguard the content security, data security and system security of big models. For customers with high compliance requirements, Chifan supports domestic and foreign mainstream chips and operating systems, and at the same time supports privatized deployment to ensure that each enterprise's own big model has independent controllability.

The upgrade also revealed that up to now, the cumulative number of users of Baidu.com's "Cloud One" intelligent assistant has exceeded 6 million.

It is worth mentioning that Chifan big model platform is a one-stop enterprise-level big model platform launched by Baidu Intelligent Cloud, aiming to provide enterprises with the whole process tool chain and a complete set of environment for big model development, and help them embrace big models with high efficiency and low cost. Previously, Chifan has completed the first round of upgrades, accessing 33 big models such as LLaMA2 full series and ChatGLM2, becoming the platform with the most big models in China. Now, the domestic and international mainstream big models managed by Chifan reach 42, and 41 datasets with industry characteristics are pre-installed. The number of monthly active enterprises is close to 10,000, covering more than 400 business scenarios in various industries such as finance, manufacturing, energy, government affairs and transportation.
