Qualcomm Launches AI Center to Simplify AI Integration in Application Development

February 26QualcommThe company announced the launch of itsartificial intelligence (AI)Center (AI Hub), an innovative platform designed to simplify application developers' integration ofartificial intelligence (AI)(AI) and generative AI capabilities in the process. Qualcomm emphasized that the AI Hub serves as a central site for developers to easily access and select on-device AI models that have been quantified and validated.

Currently, the center supports more than 75 AI models covering a wide range of areas including image segmentation, generation, classification, object detection, super resolution, text generation, low light enhancement, and natural language understanding. Developers simply need to select the model they want to implement on the website, specify the target platform, and even select a specific device. Once these steps are completed, AI Hub will guide them to the most suitable model.

Qualcomm says developers can now integrate optimized models into their workflows with just a few lines of code, dramatically improving development efficiency and ease compared to traditional AI integration methods.

While the AI Hub can run on non-Snapdragon chips, non-Snapdragon chipsets may not be able to take full advantage of the dedicatedAI chipThe advantage. This means that implementing AI features on devices with non-Snapdragon chipsets may require more effort from developers.

Qualcomm's AI Hub provides application developers with a powerful tool that enables them to more quickly and easily implement AI functionality in their applications, thus driving the widespread adoption of AI technology across a variety of sectors.
