Google teams up with U.S. Department of Defense to develop AI microscope to detect cancer cells earlier

The U.S. Department of Defense has partnered with Google to develop a new microscope with AI capabilities that could assist doctors in detecting the presence of cancer cells in a patient's body earlier. The new product is a virtual reality microscope (ARM), a useful tool for pathologists as the technology is in the research and development stage. Each ARM could cost $90,000 to $100,000 dollars.
