Google in "false advertising" storm, admits demo video was edited and synthesized

Last week Google released a video demonstrating the power of the Gemini, but it was questioned as a fake, plunging the company into a storm of "false propaganda". In the face of skepticism, Google confirmed to the media that the video demonstrating Gemini's performance was not real-time, but used still images from the original footage, and then wrote text prompts to get Gemini to respond.
