Rapidus, a Japanese government-funded semiconductor R&D group, will partner with Canadian chip startup Tenstorrent to design its first AI chip.Tenstorrent will license a portion of its design for a Japanese AI gas pedal and co-design the entire chip with RapidusTenstorrent was founded in 2016 and Rapidus was founded in 2022.
