AI beats human champions in drone racing

A series of head-to-head races between the Swift AI system based on deep reinforcement learning developed at the University of Zurich, Switzerland, and three drone racing world champions broke the record for the shortest time spent in a drone racing competition, half a second ahead of the best time by a human competitor.
