Nokia Dubai Innovation Lab: leading a revolution in the use of AI technology for network automation in the MEA region

According to a report from foreign media outlet ET Telecom, theNokia (company name)announced that it will establish an open innovation lab in Dubai aimed at fostering technological innovation in the MEA region and accelerating theAIand new technologies such as machine learning in network automation and optimization.

This innovation lab will focus on three key areas that will deliver tangible benefits to operators and businesses:

anyRAN solutions for 5G communications

Nokia claims that their anyRAN solution will help evolve Cloud RAN (Radio Access Network, or 5G Radio Access Network) into a solution that can be used in parallel with purpose-built RANs to ensure consistent performance. This approach offers a range of flexible options for technology providers and operating environments to meet the expectations of operators and enterprises for openness and efficiency.

This initiative will drive the development of 5G communication technologies in the MEA region, bringing innovative solutions for network automation.

Private wireless networks and industrial networks

The lab will showcase Industry 4.0 use cases based on Nokia's market-leading MX Industrial Edge (MXIE) platform to help organizations accelerate their transition to Industry 4.0.

Through these case presentations, companies will gain a better understanding of how they can improve the efficiency and intelligence of their industrial processes with Nokia's technologies and solutions.

MantaRay Solutions for Network Intelligence

Nokia aims to accelerate the use of AI and machine learning solutions for network automation and optimization. Nokia's MantaRay solution portfolio for intelligent network management and automation will be demonstrated and applied in this lab.

Mikko Lavanti, senior vice president at Nokia, said, "We are delighted to establish the Open Innovation Lab in the MEA region, which further demonstrates our commitment to collaborate with partners such as Dell and HP in key technology areas for the future. This collaboration will accelerate the adoption of new technologies in our region, and we can help operators and enterprises unlock new opportunities by improving network efficiency and performance." The establishment of this innovation lab will drive the adoption of AI technologies in network automation in the MEA region, bringing more innovation and efficiency gains to the industry.
