Mohit Joshi, CEO-designate of Indian IT giant Tech Mahindra, said at the recent Zero Mile Samvad conference that while theartificial intelligence (AI)(AI) developments may make programming easier and more widespread, but he doesn't think programming jobs will become redundant.
According to Mohit Joshi, AI has indeed helped the average programmer reach the level of an 'expert', significantly increasing productivity. However, this does not mean that the need for programming talent will diminish. Instead, he predicts that the role of programmers will evolve over time.
He added that the development of AI will create more winners and also some losers. But he strongly believes that overall, it will benefit all of us immensely.Mohit Joshi's view is that no matter how much AI evolves, the need for programming talent will not diminish.
