Intel unveils next-generation AI datacenter and PC chips, teases Gaudi 3 to surpass H100

IntelAt the recently heldAI A range of new AI products were announced at the Everywhere event, including fifth-generation Xeon processors for the enterprise and Core Ultra chips for personal computers (PCs). Meanwhile, Intel CEO Kissinger gave the first public introduction of Gaudi 3, the third-generation Intel AI gas pedal that will be used for deep learning and large-scale generative AI models.

Intel plans to release Gaudi 3 next year and claims that it will outperform NVIDIA's main AI chip, H100.As the demand for generative AI solutions continues to grow, Intel expects to capture a larger share of the gas pedal market next year with its Gaudi-led AI gas pedal suite.

The launch of the 5th generation Xeon processor is Intel's most powerful Xeon processor to date, featuring a new architecture and technology designed to provide businesses with more efficient, flexible and reliable computing. Meanwhile, the Core Ultra chip is Intel's first chip designed for desktop PCs, which utilizes a new design and technology designed to provide users with a faster, smoother and more secure computing experience.

Gaudi 3 is Intel's third-generation AI gas pedal, which will utilize new architectures and technologies to deliver higher performance and efficiency. It will be used for deep learning and large-scale generative AI model training and inference to meet growing computing demands.

Intel's new and previewed products are designed to meet the growing computing needs and market changes. As AI technology continues to evolve, Intel will continue to introduce more innovative products and technologies to drive the development and adoption of AI technology.
